AceShowbiz - More details about Oasis' alleged comeback tour have been revealed. It has been reported that Liam Gallagher and Noel Gallagher are gearing up for the rock band's "massive" upcoming tour.
On Monday, August 26, The U.S. Sun claimed that the two brothers are going to announce the exciting news about the band's comeback tour very soon. Speaking to the media outlet, a music industry source spilled, "Oasis's comeback tour is going to be absolutely massive and next summer they're going to be Âtaking over the country."
The source went on to say, "They will announce four shows at Wembley Stadium today, along with a load more dates across the whole of the U.K. - including in Manchester, which will be incredibly poignant for them."
About whom the band is working with for the forthcoming tour, the source shared, "Live Nation and SJM have joined up on the project because it's so enormous. In short, today there are going to be a ton of tickets available." The source noted, "Noel and Liam want everyone to have the chance to see them."
The insider further told the outlet, "It was a pinch-me moment to have Noel and Liam together. It has taken a lot to get them to this point but they're thinking of the fans. The shoot was top-secret and barely anyone knew about it. For their fans to see them together again will be an amazing sight, the Âatmosphere in the room was fizzing, it was electric."
"Once the announcement is made and their fans are rushing to buy the tickets, the hard work will start as they get ready to start performing together again," the insider continued. "It's something so many people never thought would happen. But now the brakes have been taken off and it's going to be mad."
The revelation came after Noel broke his silence on rumors about an Oasis reunion. On Sunday, August 25, he made use of his social media pages to upload a clip displaying a sign with the Oasis logo style and the date "27.08.24" flickering to read "8 A.M.."
Aside from Noel, Liam hinted at a potential announcement during his headline set at the Reading Festival on Sunday evening. He dedicated Oasis tracks to his brother and suggested an announcement could be made on Tuesday at 8:00 A.M., showing the same clip as Noel.
