Ryan Anderson who is currently going through divorce proceedings with Gypsy Rose Blanchard finally addresses the paternity issue of his estranged wife's baby.

AceShowbiz - Gypsy Rose Blanchard's estranged husband, Ryan Anderson, has revealed that he is required to undergo a DNA test to determine the paternity of her unborn child. The announcement comes on the day Blanchard and her boyfriend, Ken Urker, announced the gender of their baby, a girl.

Under Louisiana state law, if a mother is married to someone other than the biological father when the child is conceived or has been divorced for less than 300 days at the time of birth, the husband/ex-husband is presumed to be the father. Anderson and Blanchard married in 2022 while she was in prison, but she filed for divorce in April 2023 and it hasn't been finalized.

According to a Louisiana attorney, if Urker wants his name on the birth certificate, Anderson must sign an affidavit declaring Urker as the father. If he does not, Urker must file a motion with the courts, and all three parties will be required to take a DNA test.

Anderson, 38, expressed his skepticism about being the baby's father during a TikTok livestream. "I have to get a DNA test. I don't have a choice. I hate being in this situation," he said. "I have to take a DNA test for court. The way the timeline matches up, I don't think it's mine, but I don't know."

Despite the legal complications, Anderson expressed that he still has love for Blanchard. "She was my wife, and I did marry her," he said. "If anyone should bash her, it should be me. I just don't get the hate."

If DNA results show that Urker is the father, his name will replace Anderson's on the birth certificate.
