AceShowbiz - In a recent interview on the "Call Her Daddy" podcast, Hunter Schafer, who plays Jules Vaughn on "Euphoria", expressed uncertainty about the future of the series. "The real tea is I have no f**king idea what's going on, and you can ask literally all of the cast," she said.
Schafer acknowledged the recent tragedies that have impacted the "Euphoria" family, including the deaths of Cloud and Turen in 2023. "Obviously I'm still coming to qualms about what's happened and losing people that we really loved and were a part of this family and everything," she said. "If we do go back, that's going to be tough."
Despite the challenges, Schafer remains hopeful. "I think there's a world in which we can channel that into making it a beautiful season 3 if it is supposed to happen," she said. "But I think that shit really threw everyone for a loop."
Schafer also hinted at potential industry factors influencing the show's future. "And then there's all these industry whatever - political things that go into whether or not this is happening," she said.
HBO has confirmed that season 3 of "Euphoria" will begin filming in January 2025. However, Schafer's comments indicate that the cast and crew are still grappling with the aftermath of the recent losses and the uncertainty surrounding the show's future.
