AceShowbiz - Tory Lanez has made the most of his time in jail. During a call with Kick streamer Adin Ross, the "Say It" spitter proudly revealed that he just graduated high school and enrolled in college.
Asked about how he was in prison, the 32-year-old said, "I'm great," He added, "I know that a lot of people sometimes when they hear prison or they hear somebody's down, they think n***a's in the corner somewhere bawling his eyes out."
"I'm in a great space mentally... Bettering myself in every single way," Tory continued. He then told fans, "A n***a just graduated high school, enrolled in college. Never thought I'd do that. But I'm taking this moment and I'm taking advantage over everything that's good."
"I'm a f**king high school dropout that just graduated high school. That s**t matters to me," the Canadian singe and rapper further elaborated. "So, it's the small things that just have me feeling good about life right now."
Just last week, Tory released "Prison Tapes". When announcing the project, he said on Instagram, "After about 20-something to 30-something f**k-ups and mistakes, me and my engineer have finally figure out how to record music over the jail phone... [We] still keep the quality as professional as I had it on the street."
"It's over. I done cracked the f**king code, man. This means that not even these prison walls can stop me from dropping new music. It's crazy!" the emcee, who was sentenced to 10 years in prison after being found guilty of shooting Megan Thee Stallion, continued. "I'm dropping the all-new Free Tory playlist, it's gon' be updated every week, with new music that I'm recording in prison in real-time."
