AceShowbiz - Is Tate McRae OK? The "Greedy" hitmaker sparked concern among fans when she accidentally tripped down a set of stairs during her performance at the Lollapalooza Festival in Chicago on Saturday, August 3.

In a fan-taken video, the Canadian-born singer hit the stage while donning a red bra top and sparkling matching mini shorts. She completed her look with high-heeled gray boots.

At one point during her set, the "she's all i wanna be" singer strutted down the stage's three red steps when she suddenly tripped. The "So You Think You Can Dance" alum seemingly twisted her leg behind her as she fell down, prompting the crowd to gasp in shock.

Tate tripped in a rather awkward position as she had one of her legs going into a 90-degree angle. However, the musician recovered quickly and proceeded to perform like a pro.

However, fans couldn't help but be concerned over the incident. "Did she twist her ankle? Looks like her leg split in half," one fan wrote on X, formerly Twitter, upon catching wind of clips of the fall.

Some others, meanwhile, praised the "exes" songstress for handling it gracefully. "Did anyone else see Tate McCrae fall on stage today or only me? She got up so quick though - that woman wasted NO TIME," a fan gushed.

"SHE STILL SLAYED," someone else noted. Another added, "HER EATING IT WAS SO FOUL."

Tate's background as a dancer might help her recover from the fall. The singer, who was only 13 at the time, was the first Canadian finalist on the American reality show "So You Think You Can Dance" in 2016.

A year later, she began sharing her songs on YouTube with her first song, "One Day", going viral. It was then released as a single that achieved gold certification in Canada. After signing with RCA Records in 2019, Tate released her debut EP "All the Things I Never Said".
