Pop star Lily Allen once orchestrated a petty yet triumphant revenge plot against a famous A-lister who accused her of seducing the unnamed star's boyfriend.

In 2009, while staying at Elton John's house in France, Lily received a call from a "very famous" woman asking her to perform at a charity event. However, during the rehearsal, the A-lister accused Lily of attempting to charm her boyfriend, who was a musician.
Both Lily and the A-lister were struggling with sobriety back then. Inspired by the incident, Lily plotted to outshine the star at the event by staying sober herself. Her plan succeeded, leading to headlines highlighting the A-lister's struggles while showcasing Lily's composure.
"I was like, 'There is no way this person will be able to hold themselves together for that long and if I can stay sober then she'll have to present me with the award when I'm looking pristine and brilliant and she looks completely f***ed,' " she recalled.
"And it f***ing worked. Front cover of the papers the next day were like 'So and so was a complete mess,' and then pictures of me with my award."
Years later, Lily expressed forgiveness towards the A-lister, acknowledging that they were both going through a challenging phase. She apologized for her "particularly petty" behavior and wished to publicly reconcile.
Though Lily has not disclosed the identity of the A-lister, she hinted that the person might recognize themselves in the story. She described the star as "incredibly beautiful", a "lot older" and "more successful and famous" than her.
