After breaking up with ex-fiance Carl Radke in September 2023, Hubbard recently revealed during the Fourth of July celebrations that she's found love again and is expecting her first child. Speaking exclusively to PEOPLE, she expressed her belief that the universe had a plan for her, stating, "I feel like my prayers were answered."

Although her new boyfriend, a doctor in biotech investing, prefers to remain out of the public eye, Hubbard's pregnancy journey will be documented on the Bravo reality show, with production of season 9 already underway. Interestingly, she will once again be filming with Radke, though she remains unfazed by his reaction to her news.

"I'm sure he'll find out when the rest of the world finds out, but I'm not calling him up and having a conversation with him," she noted. "That relationship is in my past, and I can't really focus on my past anymore because I'm so focused on my present and my future. And to be honest, his emotions are no longer my responsibility. It's just not my problem anymore."

"I've also learned from my past mistakes in being too public with every step of my relationships," Hubbard told E! News. "And after my last relationship ended in such a humiliating and very public way, I'm not exactly dying to open my current relationship up to the world just yet."

Keeping her boyfriend's identity a secret was one thing; keeping her pregnancy under wraps was another challenge altogether. In an Instagram post shared on July 5, she admitted, "It has been extremely difficult to hide my excitement in secrecy, and now that I'm able to share my happiness and joy, I feel like a weight has been lifted."

Excitement is palpable in every aspect of Hubbard's life now. From planning baby showers and decorating the nursery to picking out a name, the journey to motherhood has been filled with joyous moments. She disclosed to PEOPLE, "We're not telling anyone what we're having yet, but the second we found out we were like, 'Okay, let's talk about names.' We already have one in mind, but we'll see if it sticks as the months go on."

The reality star is over the moon about sharing the good news and celebrating openly. "I'm just excited to actually be able to talk about it publicly now and share in the celebration with our friends. I'm a very 'scream from the rooftops' kind of girl. I'm just ready to let it all out now," she enthused.
