AceShowbiz - Childish Gambino (Donald Glover) had a special treat for fans ahead of the release of his new album, "Bando Stone & The New World". On Tuesday, July 2, the rapper/actor released one of its singles, "Lithonia".

"Cody LaRae/ He had a break, he's findin' out/ That nobody gives a f**k," the 40-year-old sings. "I did my job, I paid my dues, love is for fools/ 'Cause nobody gives a f**k."

Gambino previously claimed that some details for "Lithonia" were leaked on the peer-to-peer streaming platform Audiomack. "That got leaked. Kinda pissed me off, to be honest. That's another reason why y'all don't get good s**t," he argued during an Instagram Live.

"Like, for what? It's like, 'It's not valuable enough. Like, it's just a single.' And I know who did it. Audiomack," the musician further argued. "F**kin' - no soup for you. You're not getting the album now."

Gambino will drop "Bando Stone & The New World" on July 19. The multi-hyphenate will be previewing the record in New York City's Little Island public park on Saturday, July 6.

"Bando Stone & The New World" will be the second and final release under his Childish Gambino moniker, following "Atavista", which was released earlier this year. It is also the name of his forthcoming film, which trailer was debuted at the 2024 BET Awards.

The clip shows the emcee portraying Bando Stone, a renowned musician who traverses a desolate world devoid of humans until he encounters a woman and her child. Together, they navigate a dystopian, post-apocalyptic world brimming with colossal squids and menacing emu-like birds. The trailer questions, "What are you when the world ends?"

Gambino's latest musical venture is part of a comprehensive series of projects. They include the "New World Tour", a North American, European, Australian and New Zealand tour launching in August, and his GILGA radio show, where he revealed his plans for two final Childish Gambino albums.
