AceShowbiz - GloRilla has left many social media users surprised with her new post about Rihanna. The "Yeah Glo!" raptress revealed that the "Don't Stop the Music" songstress sent her a text about a new album.
On Tuesday, July 2, the 24-year-old hip-hop artist offered her fans a look at the message that Rihanna sent her. Making use of her Instagram page, she uploaded a screenshot of a Direct Message from the 36-year-old Barbadian singer.
In the photo, it could be seen that Rihanna, who is also famous as RiRi, sent Glo a message to ask about a new album at 12:51 A.M.. It read, "You got all summer sis! I know dis wild hypocritical, but when the album drop?" RiRi also let out shrugging and red heart emojis.
In response, Glo reacted to RiRi's DM with a red heart emoji. However, it remains unknown if the "On Wat U On" raptress has replied to the "Umbrella" hitmaker's DM since the picture was cropped.
In the same post, Glo treated Instagram users to a series of photos from a recent star-studded event. In the snaps, she was captured striking some poses with fellow famous figures, including Megan Thee Stallion and Moneybagg Yo.
It did not take long for the post to be flooded with online comments from Instagram users, including those who complained about RiRi taking so long to release her own album. In the comments section, one in particular penned, "I would have sent the reverse uno card to riri bc wdym."
Similarly, another chimed in, "RiRi can't be talking about no album release cuz we been waiting for her to drop for some years now." On the other hand, a third found the message hilarious, writing, "That DM from Rihanna is hilarious. 'I know this is hypocritical.' LMAOOOOO!!" A fourth, in the meantime, suggested, "Tell her the album's dropping when she gives you the feature lol."
While Glo unleashed her latest mixtape "Ehhthang Ehhthang" in April and compilation album "Gangsta Art 2" in September 2023, Rihanna has not dropped any sets in more than eight years. Her latest record is titled "Anti", which she unveiled back in January 2016. Most recently, RiRi poked fun at her long-awaited ninth studio album at the launch party of Rihanna x Fenty Hair.
