The rising South African star stuns in a skin-baring vintage Versace gown, adorned with diamonds worth over $230,000 when attending the star-studded event at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles.

The gown, originally released in 2004, featured intricate stud detailing, an open back, a cutout halter neckline that dipped below her navel, and a daring front slit that revealed an animal print lining.
To complement her stunning attire, Tyla accessorized with $230,000 worth of natural diamonds from Jared Atelier, weighing in at a total of 70 carats. Her jewelry included pear-shaped natural morganite and diamond drop earrings, a diamond ring, a pear-shaped natural morganite and diamond ring, a Jared Atelier diamond tennis bracelet, and a Jared Atelier x Shy emerald-cut diamond tennis bracelet.
Tyla's latest fashion triumph adds to her streak of show-stopping outfits this year. In May, she turned heads at the Met Gala in a Balmain gown made entirely of sand. At the Grammys in February, she wowed in an asymmetrical pistachio-green Versace gown adorned with netted crystals.
Tyla, 22, who rose to international fame following the release of her hit single "Water" in July 2023, already won the Best International Act award and is up for three other trophies, including Best Female R&B/Pop Artist. She's also set to perform at the event alongside fellow nominees Ice Spice, Victoria Monet and "Bad Boys" star Will Smith. Her latest look adds to a string of show-stopping outfits that the singer has worn on the red carpet this year.
Following the release of her self-titled album in March, Tyla turned heads at the Met Gala in May with a stunning Balmain gown made of sand. When Balmain creative director Olivier Rousteing trimmed down the unwieldy floor-length dress to just above the singer's knees, the moment instantly went viral. In early March, the artist shared a post on Instagram announcing that she was canceling the North American portion of her tour entirely and postponing her shows in Europe indefinitely due to a medical condition. "Words cannot describe my frustration at this pivotal point in my career. So please know that my team and I are working diligently on a spectacular show for you as soon as I am recovered and ready to return safely onstage this summer," Tyla wrote in the caption.
