Recently, he revealed in an interview with Complex that it is mostly finished. "We're living in the project right now," he said. "I'm really enjoying this process time."

Chance went on to explain that working on his last album, "The Big Day", was stressful and hectic. But this time around, he's able to focus on the creative process and be present in the moment. "I'm really able to revel in the creative process and put everything into that and be 100 percent myself and present in the now," he said.

Chance also shared a cryptic update on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Sunday (April 21), posting a two-minute video montage of clips from studio sessions, performance rehearsals, and other life moments. The video was set to an acapella track of Chance singing, "I'll be ready to go."

Some fans have already declared the project "album of the millennium," despite the release date remaining a mystery. In a previous interview, Chance described "Star Line Gallery" as "one of my proudest projects in terms of writing and artistic vision."

Chance The Rapper's last album, "The Big Day", was released in 2019 and received mixed reviews. Many fans and critics felt that the album was overstuffed and lacked focus. However, Chance has been teasing "Star Line Gallery" as a return to form, and fans are eagerly anticipating its release.
