The actor reflected on the public scrutiny surrounding their relationship, stating that he and Swift mutually decided to keep their private matters confidential.
"It was never something to commodify and I see no reason to change that now," Alwyn emphasized.
During the interview, Alwyn also expressed his contentment with his current life, both professionally and personally. He declined to comment on whether he is currently dating anyone new, citing the past media attention surrounding his relationship with Swift.
"I feel fortunate to be in a really great place in my life, professionally and personally," Alwyn said. "I feel really good."
