The 'Dancing with a Stranger' songstress cannot hide the fact that she is shocked upon learning of Ally Brooke's statement about the Miami-based girl group reuniting.

AceShowbiz - Normani Kordei could not hide the fact that she was shocked when she heard about Fifth Harmony's reunion. The "Dancing with a Stranger" songstress gave her reaction to a claim suggesting that the group will reunite.

The 28-year-old former Fifth Harmony singer received a question about the matter during an interview that was published on Tuesday, June 11. In the middle of the chat, a host said, "Something else you probably didn't see because you still off the internet but I got to tell you about it."

He continued, "Ally be talking to anybody and telling them, 'I think a reunion might be happening you know.' That's what the word to the street is," making a reference to Normani's former fellow Fifth Harmony singer Ally Brooke. He then asked, "So are we going to see all five of you together? I just need to know."

Upon learning of Ally's statement, Normani appeared shocked as she said, "Oh wow. That's the word?" In response, she stated, "I don't know. Not to my knowledge," as she opened her palms before placing them on her chest. She went on to say, "But I definitely see that being a possibility in the future. That would be a special moment for sure."

A short clip from the interview was later shared on social media, prompting users to comment on Normani's reaction. One in particular wrote, "Its because is true. I mean, nobody want that reunion (for now) just Ally because she's jobless." Another chimed in, "Ally brooke just be saying anything and the other 5h girls don't know about it."

The host was discussing Ally's remarks about the reunion of Fifth Harmony, which consisted of Normani, Ally, Camila Cabello, Dinah Jane and Lauren Jauregui. In October 2023, she told E! News, "We may be working on something."

Later on, Ally further explained her statement on X, formerly known as Twitter. She tweeted at that time, "I'm thrilled to see there's a lot of interest surrounding Fifth Harmony. Reunion has many meanings and while there's no official band reunion happening at the moment, some beautiful friendships and relationships are slowly reuniting in a healing and empowering way."
