The 26-time PGA Tour winner and his wife, who share a 3-year-old daughter together, have decided to work through their issues, calling off their divorce just weeks after filing.

AceShowbiz - Rory McIlroy, a 26-time PGA Tour winner, and his wife Erica Stoll have officially called off their divorce, barely a month after the pro golfer initiated the proceedings. The couple, married for seven years and parents to a three-year-old daughter named Poppy Kennedy McIlroy, have reconciled and asked a Florida court to dismiss their case.

In a statement to The Guardian, McIlroy confirmed the dismissal of the divorce proceedings, stating, "Over the past weeks, Erica and I have realized that our best future was as a family together. Thankfully, we have resolved our differences and look forward to a new beginning."

McIlroy had initially filed for divorce on May 13, citing an "irrevocably broken" marriage. The paperwork, served to Stoll in Jupiter, Florida, called for joint custody of their daughter and the enforcement of a prenuptial agreement signed before their lavish 2017 wedding in Ireland. However, the couple has now chosen to prioritize their family and work through their challenges.

Reports linking McIlroy to CBS Sports reporter Amanda Balionis surfaced amid the divorce speculation. Although seen hugging Balionis after an interview at the Canadian Open, McIlroy and his communications team have dismissed these rumors, emphasizing a professional relationship.

McIlroy and Stoll's journey together began in 2012 during the Ryder Cup, where Stoll, then a transport official, helped McIlroy arrive on time for his tee-off. They started dating in late 2014, after McIlroy's public breakup with tennis pro Caroline Wozniacki, and have maintained a supportive and private relationship.
