When the country star took the stage alongside the Grammy Award-winning rapper, not only did they create an unforgettable performance, but also a magical moment etched into music history.

AceShowbiz - Over the weekend, Jelly Roll, the acclaimed country music sensation, recounted one of the defining moments of his career during an interview at CMA Fest. Jelly Roll, whose real name is Jason Bradley DeFord, joined forces with Eminem, or Marshall Mathers, in Detroit for a performance that can only be described as surreal.

Jelly Roll reflected on the experience, stating to ET, "When I think about coolest moments of my career, right now at the top, there has to be this thing that I got to go sing with Eminem in Detroit." The song in focus was "Sing for the Moment", a track where Eminem samples Steven Tyler. "I mean, just what an incredible night and I got to go do it in Detroit. It was unreal."

Jelly Roll shared that the opportunity emerged somewhat mysteriously, with Eminem's team reaching out unexpectedly for a surprise performance at the "Live From Detroit: The Concert at Michigan Central" show. "I thought it was a joke until I met Eminem himself," Jelly Roll confessed. "Paul, don't play," he told Eminem's manager, Paul Rosenberg, who is a friend of Jelly Roll.

The collaboration saw Jelly Roll singing the chorus and hook of "Sing for the Moment", delivering a spectacular rendition that included the iconic lyrics of Aerosmith's "Dream On". "I was giddy, like a child," Jelly Roll admitted. "Just the kid in me. I thought the camera was off of me. So as soon as I get through singing, I'm like, whoa, I just let this steamroller out. It's really cool."
