The 'Son of a Sinner' singer has a reason to celebrate as his single, which he co-wrote with Jessie Jo Dillon, Jesse Frasure, and Matt Jenkins, lands atop the tally.

AceShowbiz - Jelly Roll is on fire, securing his fourth consecutive No. 1 on Billboard's Country Airplay chart with "Halfway to Hell", a song he co-wrote with Jessie Jo Dillon, Jesse Frasure and Matt Jenkins. The track ascended to the top of the June 15 tally, thanks to a 16% increase in audience impressions, amounting to 33.2 million, according to Luminate.

This achievement marks the latest triumph from his album "Whitsitt Chapel", which had a phenomenal debut, entering Top Country Albums at No. 2 in June 2023. The album recorded the largest week, 90,000 equivalent album units in the United States, for an initial entry since the survey transitioned to a consumption-based methodology in 2017.

Jelly Roll's success follows a streak of hits including "Save Me" (with Lainey Wilson), "Need a Favor" and his breakout track "Son of a Sinner". Each song has enjoyed its own time atop the charts, solidifying Jelly Roll's reputation. His streak of four consecutive Country Airplay No. 1s is the longest active run, tying with Bailey Zimmerman's "Where It Ends".

Attention to other artists in the genre shows Morgan Wallen's "Cowgirls", featuring Ernest, climbing to No. 7 on Country Airplay, marking Wallen's 16th top 10. Ernest also celebrates his first top 10 as a recording artist with this track.
