AceShowbiz - Maren Morris has retreated to the comfort of family following a surprising revelation about her sexuality. The "My Church" hitmaker spent some time with her son Hayes after coming out as a bisexual.
On Monday, June 10, the 34-year-old country star offered social media users a glimpse of her fun day out with her 4-year-old son, whom she shares with her former husband Ryan Hurd. Making use of Instagram Stories, she treated her followers to a series of photos from her family outing at a zoo.
In one of the pictures, it could be seen that Maren was taking Hayes to the zoo to feed a number of giraffes. She was photographed kneeling on one of her knees as she handed vegetables to the giraffe. In the meantime, the young boy was standing up while trying to feed another giraffe.
Another snap captured Maren carrying Hayes in her arms as she stood up near the cage of the giraffes. The mother and son duo were pictured watching the giraffe chewing its food. She appeared in good spirits throughout the outing, flashing her radiant big smiles in the photos.
During the visit at the zoo, Maren and Hayes got to see a flamingo. A different picture shared by the "Middle" singer showed Hayes getting a close look at the gorgeous creature. Furthermore, he was brave enough to stand near the flamingo.
Maren released the photos from the fun family day out shortly after the songstress broke the news about her sexuality. On Sunday, June 9, she surprised many social media users by announcing that she is a bisexual.
In the caption of her new post, Maren wrote, "PHOENIX, AZ. happy to be the B in LGBTQ+," which is short for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer/Questioning and many other terms. She went on to state, "Happy pride," adding a rainbow emoji. She was launching photos of her celebrating Pride Month at her concert in Phoenix, Arizona one day prior.
