In a series of candid Instagram videos, Chrissy Teigen addresses rumors of fillers, scoffing at a critic for being unable to tell the difference between fillers and weight gain.

AceShowbiz - Chrissy Teigen, the model and cookbook author, is taking a stand against the speculations surrounding her appearance. In a series of videos posted on her Instagram Stories on June 8, Teigen, 38, directly responded to accusations from a medical professional about having cosmetic fillers.
"Would you trust a doctor that couldn't tell filler from weight gain? I personally wouldn't," Teigen asserted in one of the clips. She added that her doctor "would never, ever, hang out on Instagram and dissect people's faces … he's too busy working."
"Those kinds of critiques only serve to make the person you're talking about not want to smile and show their natural joy," Teigen explained in another video, "because they think that people are going to make fun of them because of their bone structure, maybe their teeth, their lips, how they look when they smile."
Referring to the negative influence these comments can have, she emphasized the harm they cause, saying, "What does this really do, other than truly steal somebody else's joy? Literally," and advised her critic to think about the impact of their words in the future.
Despite refuting the recent filler rumors, Teigen has been transparent about the cosmetic procedures she has undergone in the past. In September 2021, she disclosed having buccal fat removal to achieve a more defined jawline, and two months later, she underwent eyebrow transplant surgery to achieve fuller brows.
Earlier this year, during an appearance on "Watch What Happens Live" with Andy Cohen, Teigen openly discussed her experience with three breast augmentation surgeries, sharing that she's had "a lift, a put in, a take them out."
Reflecting on her first set of breast implants at age 20, Teigen told Glamour UK in a 2020 interview, "It was more for a swimsuit thing. I thought if I'm going to be posing, laid on my back, I want them to be perky! But then you have babies and they fill up with milk and deflate and now I am screwed."
Teigen's openness about her cosmetic journey allows her to resonate with many individuals facing similar decisions and societal pressures. Amidst public scrutiny, she continues to set a realistic and relatable example, advocating for self-acceptance and understanding.
