AceShowbiz - Country music star Lauren Alaina is glowing with happiness as she celebrates four blissful months of marriage to Cam Arnold. Reflecting on her wedding day on February 5, 2024, Alaina describes it as "the best day of her life."
"It's the best!" she exclaimed. "I love him, which is a good start. It's my favorite, and it's a lot of fun."
Alaina and Arnold first met in 2020 at the Crash My Playa concert vacation in Mexico, thanks to the serendipitous introduction facilitated by Luke Bryan. Alaina was drawn to Arnold's charm, finding him to be a grounding force in her fast-paced life.
"He's a good teammate. He's my best friend in the whole wide world," she said. "He keeps me grounded and gives me a piece of a normal everyday life that I didn't have before him."
The couple announced their engagement in November 2022 at the Grand Ole Opry, with Alaina sharing the exciting news with the audience. They kept their relationship relatively private until that moment, valuing their low-key lifestyle.
"He likes to be in the shadows," Alaina said. "He was like, 'You're not making me come out there,' and I said, 'You are not not getting a picture in the circle.' "
Arnold, a partner in a Nashville-based insurance firm, has a quiet personality and prefers to stay out of the spotlight. However, his family adores Alaina and his nieces in Germany were thrilled to surprise him with a visit from the couple.
Alaina and Arnold's wedding was a star-studded affair in downtown Nashville, attended by country music heavyweights like Jason Aldean and Brittany Aldean, HARDY and Dan + Shay's Shay Mooney.
Despite the lavish guest list of over 400 people, the ceremony was intimate and heartfelt, with siblings and Cam's father participating as they exchanged personalized vows.
"It was a very emotional, very heartfelt ceremony," Alaina recalled.
Four months into their marriage, Alaina and Arnold are deeply in love and enjoying the adventure of their new life together. As they prepare for CMA Fest 2024, where Alaina will perform on the Chevy Riverfront Stage, they continue to cherish the special bond they share.
