AceShowbiz - Zachary Quinto apparently isn't the kind of guest that restaurant staff would love. The 47-year-old actor has been banned from a restaurant in Toronto after creating a fuss in the business on Sunday, June 2.
In an Instagram Story post, a restaurant called Manita accused the star of yelling at staff like an "entitled child." It began, "Zachary Quinto - an amazing Spock, but a terrible customer," referring to Quinto's character in "Star Trek" franchise.
"Yelled at our staff like an entitled child after he didn't reply to two texts to inform him his table was ready and refused to believe the empty tables in the dining room weren't available for him despite being politely informed they were spoken for," the post continued.
The restaurant continued, "Made our host cry and the rest of our brunch diners uncomfortable. Mr. Quinto, take your bad vibes somewhere else, we have many lovely celebrities join us at Manita but you are NOT one of them."
Quinto has yet to comment on the allegations.
The alleged incident came while Quinto was celebrating his 47th birthday in Canada. The "American Horror Story" actor also took to his Instagram account to document his birthday vacation, which included a visit to an amusement park called Canada's Wonderland in Ontario. "Thank you for such an incredible birthday adventure @canadaswonderland !!!"
That aside, Quinto is currently preparing for the release of his latest project, "Brilliant Minds". On the NBC medical drama, he will play a neurologist named Dr. Oliver Wolf, based on real-life, late brain surgeon and author, Oliver Wolf Sacks.
The cast also includes Tamberla Perry, Ashleigh LaThrop, Alex MacNicoll, Aury Krebs, Spence Moore II, Teddy Sears and Donna Murphy. Officially greenlit last year in October, "Brilliant Minds" is set to premiere on the network later this fall.
