During her opening act for AC/DC in Spain, the frontwoman of The Pretty Reckless experiences a true rock and roll moment that prompted a hospital visit and preventive injection.

AceShowbiz - While opening for the legendary rock band AC/DC, Taylor Momsen added an unexpected twist to her performance when a bat decided to make a dramatic entrance. During the song "Witches Burn," the bat flew onto Momsen's leg and clung on, completely unnoticed by the singer until fans started screaming and pointing.
Capturing the wild moment from the stage, fans and hospital footage made the rounds on social media, turning it into an unforgettable episode.
Momsen took to Instagram to share her unique experience with her followers, posting footage of the bat clinging to her slip dress and her subsequent hospital visit. "He was cute, but yes he bit me," Momsen wrote, adding humor to the situation by jokingly remarking, "I must really be a witch." The hospital staff, clearly entertained by the situation, dubbed her "batgirl."
The bat bite, however, came with a more serious side effect - Momsen would need to receive rabies shots for the next two weeks. Reflecting on the incident, Momsen captioned her post, "So…ROCK AND ROLL MOMENT…in Sevilla Wednesday during 'Witches Burn' of all songs… a BAT flew onto me and clung to my leg."
This incident occurred while The Pretty Reckless was supporting AC/DC on the European leg of their "Power Up" tour, which promotes their 17th studio album. The tour kicked off in May in Germany and continued through various major cities, including Amsterdam, Vienna, Zurich, and Paris.
Earlier in the year, Momsen and her bandmates even had the honor of opening for The Rolling Stones in Las Vegas.
Taylor Momsen's journey from an actress in the popular CW series "Gossip Girl" to a rock and roll frontwoman is as compelling as her latest bat encounter. Momsen left acting over a decade ago to pursue her passion for music - a decision she described as life-changing on Penn Badgley's "Podcrushed" podcast last year.
"As soon as I got to an age where I could make my own decisions, it was like a click," she shared with her former onscreen brother. The choice to dive fully into her band has certainly paid off, even if it comes with the occasional bat bite.
With rock and roll moments like this, Taylor Momsen and The Pretty Reckless are keeping the spirit of rock alive and unpredictable, leaving fans eagerly awaiting what they will do next.
