Following a previous encounter where she was bitten by a bat onstage two years ago, Momsen was recently bitten by a venomous spider during the band’s ongoing Power Up Tour in Mexico City.

Momsen took to Instagram to share the experience, writing that it “wouldn’t be an AC/DC tour” without some sort of bite. She explained how a large spider bit her, and the venom affected her system significantly. As a result, she had to receive medical treatment from doctors in Mexico before performing at the show the following night.

She humorously referenced her growing list of encounters with wildlife, questioning whether she should now be called “Spider woman” or “Batgirl.” This lighthearted take came despite the seriousness of the spider bite and the medical intervention required.

Heart guitarist Nancy Wilson responded to Momsen’s post, advising her to “flush out your system with lots of water” and to closely follow the doctors’ instructions. This supportive message reflected the concern within the rock community for Momsen’s wellbeing.
