On Monday, May 27, the 36-year-old shared a compilation video of her and her beau throughout their relationship. She began her caption, "Happy 1 year anniversary @derrickmilano. Reflecting on a year of pure magic and joy with you, my dearest Derrick. Your love, support, and friendship have filled my life with light and warmth."
"Thank you for showing me the true meaning of love," she added. "Here's to countless more years of love and togetherness. I cherish you always ~ Angela #AnniversaryBlessings."
Angela and Derrick went Instagram official in September last year. Speaking of their romance, she once told PEOPLE, "You won't be able to say power couple without mentioning Angela White and Derrick Gray! They always say don't go looking for love, let love find you. In… this case love found us. I know that might sound cliche, but hey, it be like that sometimes."
Angela, who shares son King Cairo Stevenson with rapper Tyga and daughter Dream Kardashian with ex Rob Kardashian, revealed the "best thing" about their relationship is that it is based on "friendship," which in turn focuses on "long talks, consistency, support, love, trust, and faith." She insisted God's timing is "always right" and they have to "have faith" in God and then "each other."
"Being able to be around somebody in your most vulnerable state plays a huge role in a successful relationship," she further elaborated. "Not to mention how important communication is to express to each other feelings, emotions, and honesty."
