AceShowbiz - Azealia Banks continues to add names to the list of celebrities she's attacking online. The "Anna Wintour" raptress made use of her social media account to blast Katy Perry for her recent comment on Ariana Grande.

In a recent interview, Katy showed love for the "Wicked" actress by calling her "the best singer of our generation." In response to the remark, Azealia apparently felt the need to slam the "American Idol" judge. In Instagram Stories on Wednesday, May 22, Azealia wrote, "Katy is feeling the burn after turning on Dr. Luke. She ain't had a song worth a damn in forever."

Upon watching Azealia's post, some fans quickly came to Katy's defense. "She's dissing Katy for not having a hot song in a second but her last proper hit was in 2012," one pointed out in an Instagram comment. "Why does she care that much about Katy's opinion tf????" someone else questioned.

Others slammed Azealia for her unnecessary attacks on other celebrities. "Is she getting paid to hate on others?" one said. Another demanded, "oh my god can her weird obsessed a$$ literally shut up? she's so mad that nobody streaming her flop music that she's taking it out on people with successful music and it's sad."

"What does Azalea Banks do? Besides hate on other artists. Like is she a singer? Actress? Music critic? Some rando off the street?" another critic said. "how boring her life must be to be lurking for successful people to attack and try to be relevant," one other noted.

Meanwhile, Katy made the gushing comment on the "we can't be friends (wait for your love)" singer during a backstage interview at the "American Idol" finale. Katy was talking about season 22 winner Abi Carter's angelic voice, which she likened to Ariana's.

She recalled her first impression of Grande's four-octave range during her debut performance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" in 2013. "The voice is unlike anything I've heard in pop music," Katy said. "The last time I said that [was about] Ariana Grande."

During the interview, Katy also teased the release of her upcoming album. The singer, who exited "American Idol" as a judge after seven seasons, expressed her hope that her successor would be "fearless" and "authentic."
