AceShowbiz - Kelly Rowland has made a return to the Cannes Film Festival one day after her heated exchange with a security guard at the event. The singer/actress attended the premiere of "The Count of Monte Cristo" on Wednesday, May 22.

For her second appearance at the film festival, the former Destiny's Child member looked elegant in a white one shoulder gown complimented with a statement silver necklace. Her short hair was swept back in wet style and she added a pair of pearl earrings.

Kelly seemed to be nervous as she walked the red carpet alone. She kept a calm demeanor and looked apprehensive compared to her blunt attitude one day before.

On Tuesday, Kelly was involved in a scuffle with a staffer when attending the premiere of French film "Marcello Mio". After footage of the moment went viral, a lip reader tried to decipher what the star said to the security guard.

"Don't talk to me like that. Don't talk to me like that," Kelly repeated, expert Jeremy Freeman told Page Six. "You're not my mother. I told you not to talk to me like that." After walking a few steps up, she then turned to face the female staffer one last time and told her, "You still don't talk to me like that."

According to Daily Mail, Kelly scolded the security guard because staff members at the iconic French festival were "being aggressive" and Kelly had "had it" with them. "The people who are assigned to helping stars walk the red carpet were being aggressive and Kelly was trying to ignore it," said a so-called insider.

"By the time she got to the last woman she had had it because she scolded Kelly and told her to move when she was trying to wave to fans and help the paparazzi get their shot," the source claimed. "She doesn't care if she comes across like a diva if she knows that she is advocating for herself. She isn't fake and wanted to set a clear boundary."

Despite the heated exchange with the staffer, Kelly took to her Instagram Story on late Tuesday night to share that it was "fun in Cannes."
