The 'Dark Horse' songstress and the former 'Carnival Row' star, who got engaged in February 2019, reportedly may host their wedding ceremony 'when it's least expected.'

AceShowbiz - A few details about Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom's wedding have been revealed. The "Dark Horse" songstress and the former "Carnival Row" star reportedly hope to "make things official" this year.

On Wednesday, May 22, a source spilled when the 39-year-old singer and her 47-year-old fiance may hold their wedding ceremony. Speaking to Us Weekly, the source said, "They're hoping to make things official by the end of the year."

The insider went on to share that Katy and Orlando "prefer" to host their nuptials "when the time is right for both of them." The insider further told the media outlet, "It will likely happen when it's least expected."

During the chat, the informant also talked about the perfect pair's plan to expand their family, stating that they "have discussed having more children." The informant continued, "They're definitely on the same page in terms of wanting to continue to expand their family."

Prior to the revelation, Katy has voiced her thoughts on having more kids with Orlando. While celebrating the launch of her non-alcoholic sparkling beverage De Soi at HEIMAT in August 2022, she talked to PEOPLE about the matter. "I'm a planner. So we'll see," she pointed out, before adding, "So of course. Hopefully in the future."

The "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)" hitmaker and the "Unlocked" actor began their romantic relationship back in 2016. Around one year into their romance, they called it quits. The couple got back together before he asked her to be his wife in February 2019.

Later on, Katy and Orlando were expecting their first child together. In August 2020, the "American Idol" judge and the actor welcomed their daughter named Daisy Dove, who rarely makes a public appearance with her famous parents.

However, recently, Daisy showed her support for her mother Katy during the taping of "American Idol". On May 12, the songstress was judging the contestants while Daisy was spotted sitting on Orlando's lap in the audience.
