AceShowbiz - 21 Savage has revealed how he got his infamous face scar. The "Her Loss" artist shared the gruesome story when speaking to fans via Instagram Live on Tuesday, May 14.
"When I was young, I had gotten into a fight, and I had gold teeth," the British emcee, born Sheyaa Bin Abraham-Joseph, said. "N***a hit me in my s**t right here [points to the side of his face]
"And my goddamn lip got caught on my teeth. I had a hole right here," he continued. "That's why I got this scar. That n***a was way bigger than me. I was probably, like, 14."
That aside, 21 Savage recently made headlines after going back and forth with Soulja Boy. It started after the former defended Metro Boomin over a 12-year-old tweet.
On Sunday, Big Draco warned Metro that he had 24 hours to delete the tweet which read, "My phone rings to come to the studio with Jeezy. Yours rings to send Soulja Boy a pack of beats. Sit down." 21 Savage then responded, "Or what."
Firing back, Soulja fumed on Instagram Story, "Boy you a b***h you not from the A you from the UK I will slap the s**t outta you." He followed up by saying he would beat up 21 Savage and Metro in a boxing match.
Things got ugly when Soulja brought up Metro's late mom, who was killed in a murder-suicide in 2022. He, however, has regretted his actions and apologized, "I apologize to @MetroBoomin for over reacting over an old tweet. Condolences to his mom. I'm going to seek therapy and anger management. I'm done responding to hate, new or old."
Still, it didn't stop Soulja from taunting 21 Savage. "21, where you at, n***a? I'm hanging out the window, n***a. P***y a** n***a, you still a b***h, n***a. I ain't apologize for you, n***a. I apologized for myself, n***a. I ain't like what I said about the n***a mama."
