AceShowbiz - Gunna has unleashed his fifth studio album titled "One of Wun". In the newly-released record, the "Banking on Me" rapper has a number of collaborative songs, including one with fellow artist Normani Kordei.
The 30-year-old hip-hop artist dropped "One of Wun" on Friday, May 10 on various music streaming platforms. The latest set consists of 20 tracks, including "Whatsapp (Wassam)" that he had released previously. The record also features "$$$", which he created with Normani.
On the joint track, Gunna raps, "Ain't gon' ask a n***a, I rather tryna get a loan from a bank/ I caterpillar way up and down the road for this cake/ It's cloudy all in my face, it's all shades of gray/ I just wanna get paid, I don't wanna wait/ Nothin' less, they all told 'em that life's a game of chess, s**t, I guess/ Made some n***as upset and that's on God, I don't regret."
For her part, Normani sings, "They say the money make you switch up/ Switch up, switch up on me/ I been about you from the get-go/ Ten toes (get-go), let me/ Treat me like you do." She goes on to rhyme, "The numbers dont like, yeah/ The money speak the truth."
Aside from "$$$", the album features "clear my rain" that he created with Leon Bridges. Gunna spits on the song, "Deal closed on the lot/ We order lemon drop, she sippin' on the rocks/ White polish on the toes, tip toein' through the spot/ White faucet, wrist so froze, see the crescent in the watch/ I'm connected to her dot/ Been player for too long, ain't pressin' 'bout a thot/ Play with it to my song, baby, turn it up a notch."
Leon joins in, "When you walk like that/ Ooh, lil' thing, when you talk like that/ You the best, yeah-yeah/ When you walk like that/ Ooh, lil' thing, when you talk like that/ You the best, yeah-yeah."
