The 25-year-old boxer reportedly tested positive for the banned substance Ostarine in two drug tests with the Voluntary Anti-Doping Association (VADA), but he denied the results.

AceShowbiz - Ryan Garcia's positive drug tests have caught the attention of his rival Devin Haney. After news broke that Ryan tested positive for the banned substance Ostarine in two drug tests with the Voluntary Anti-Doping Association (VADA), Devin issued a statement, saying that Ryan "owes the fans an apology."

"We learned about this situation not too long ago and it's unfortunate Ryan cheated and disrespected both the fans, and the sport of boxing by fighting dirty and breaking positive not once, but twice," Devin said in a message shared on his Instagram Story. "I've always been an advocate for clean fighting and this is an example of such."

"Ryan owes the fans an apology, and by his recent tweet, he still thinks this is a joke. We put our lives on the line to entertain people for a living. We don't play boxing," he added. "This puts the fight in a completely different light. Despite the disadvantage, I still fought on my shield and got back up. People die in this sport. This is not a joking matter."

As for Ryan, he has denied the test results. "My levels are so low for someone who took Ostarine. I was posting throughout training and non of my test came out positive. All of a sudden I'm positive? We know what it is," he argued. "They make false claims and try to ban me from boxing or put me in jail. Crazy."

"Everybody knows that I don't cheat," Ryan said in a video posted on X, formerly Twitter, on Wednesday night. "Never taken a steroid … I don't even know where to get steroids. … I barely take supplements. Big lies."

Ryan claimed his tests with VADA were negative for February 25, March 8, March 15 and April 3 dates. He was caught off guard that he tested positive for the April 19-20 dates. It prompted fans to believe it was a conspiracy to bring Ryan down after he beat Devin.

Also defending Ryan was fellow boxer Gervonta Davis. On X, formerly Twitter, he penned, "They doing anything to take away the win from Ryan..if that's the case BANNED EDDIE HEARN SILVER POON A**!"
