Taylor Swift Launches 2nd Installment of 'Tortured Poets Department', Extra Songs After Its Release

Shortly after releasing her eleventh studio album and its four editions, the 'All Too Well' hitmaker unleashes 'The Anthology', which features 15 extra songs.

AceShowbiz - Taylor Swift revealed that she has a surprise following the release of her eleventh studio album. Shortly after launching "The Tortured Poets Department", the "All Too Well" hitmaker unleashed the second installment of the record with a number of extra songs.

On Friday, April 19, the 34-year-old singer/songwriter shared the exciting news on her social media pages. She wrote, "It's a 2am surprise: The Tortured Poets Department is a secret DOUBLE album," adding a "V" hand sign emoji.

Taylor went on to explain, "I'd written so much tortured poetry in the past 2 years and wanted to share it all with you, so here's the second installment of TTPD: The Anthology. 15 extra songs. And now the story isn't mine anymore... it's all yours [a heart emoji]."

The 15 extra songs include "The Black Dog", "imgonnagetyouback", "Chloe or Sam or Sophia or Marcus", "How Did It End?", "So High School", "I Hate It Here" and "thanK you aIMee". They also feature "I Look in People's Windows", "The Prophecy", "Cassandra", "Peter" as well as "Robin".

The "Shake It Off" songstress announced "The Anthology" shortly after dropping "The Tortured Poets Department". The newly-released album consists of several songs, including the title track "The Tortured Poets Department".

On the particular song, Taylor mentions fellow singer Charlie Puth. She sings, "You smokŠµd then ate seven bars of chocolate/ We declared Charlie Puth should be a bigger artist/ I scratch your head, you fall asleep/ Like a tattooed golden retriever/ But you awaken with dread/ Pounding nails in your head/ But I've read this one where you come undone/ I chose this cyclone with you."

After unleashing the album, Taylor received positive online responses from her listeners. One in particular wrote, "The tortured poets department changed lives including mine." In the tweet, the user attached a photo featuring a message that read, "Thank you for changing my life." Another user wrote, "Life isn't gonna be the same after this i'm still processing."

Meanwhile, a third exclaimed, "You're so amazing I'm so excited for what you will do next!! I love your music so much." A fourth raved, "I love this, Taylor's beautiful voice. This album is going to be another Grammy winner, I just know it."
