AceShowbiz - Amber Rose has clarified the nature of her relationship with Chris Rock, dispelling rumors that they are dating.
The model and actress, 40, was photographed with the comedian, 59, in New York City in December. The sightings sparked speculation that they were romantically involved, but Rose has vehemently denied the claims.
"It was not a date," Rose told Entertainment Tonight. "I've been friends with Chris Rock for like, 13 years."
She explained that they met for coffee and engaged in friendly banter. "He made me laugh because he's hilarious," she said. "And that's our friendship. Just friendship."
Rose emphasized that the lack of public displays of affection in the paparazzi photos should have been a clue into the nature of their relationship. "We were not holding hands, and we were obviously very separate," she said.
The video vixen also revealed that she has given Rock "relationship advice" following his divorce from Malaak Compton-Rock in 2014.
As for her own relationship status, Rose said she is single and focused on raising her two sons, Sebastian, 11, and Slash, 4. She stated that she has no desire to share her life with anyone else.
Rose also addressed her other famous friendships, including Tom Arnold and Sandra Bullock. She explained that she keeps these relationships private to avoid unnecessary attention.
