AceShowbiz - Anna Paquin will "probably" talk about her health issues, but not now. The "True Blood" alum, who made headlines recently for walking with a cane at the premiere of her new film, "A Bit of Light", declared that she'll talk more about the matter in her own way.

The 41-year-old made the statement while appearing on "TODAY with Hoda & Jenna". After Hoda Kotb mentioned the red carpet moment, she asked if everything was okay.

"I'm having a good day today. Yeah. Thank you for asking," Anna said in response. "I'll probably talk about that at some point, but... " The actress unfortunately didn't finish her sentence.

Anna previously admitted to PEOPLE that the past two years have been "difficult" for her, alluding to undisclosed health issues that have impacted her mobility. While she has also experienced speech difficulties, a source expressed optimism that she will make a full recovery.

Despite her health struggles, Anna remains dedicated to her craft. She shared her love for independent filmmaking, which has been a staple in her career since she won an Oscar at age 11 for "The Piano".

In "A Bit of Light", Anna plays a recovering alcoholic who reunites with her estranged father after losing custody of her daughters. She drew inspiration for the role from her experiences as a mother, as she emphasized the complexities of motherhood and the tendency for society to disregard women as individuals once they become mothers.
