The Rhode beauty founder has opened up about her skin condition and offered tips on how to soothe her skin and prevent the facial rash from getting worse.

AceShowbiz - Model and Rhode founder Hailey Baldwin has shared her experience with perioral dermatitis, a common skin condition that causes red, acne-like bumps on the lower half of the face, including around the nose and mouth.

According to Bieber, she has had the condition since she was 19 or 20 and knows that many others struggle with it as well. In a TikTok video, she described her recent flare-up and shared the products she uses to soothe her skin.

Bieber's treatment routine for flare-ups includes: Azelaic Acid cream to soothe inflammation at night, Clindamycin topical treatment in the daytime to stop bacterial growth on the skin, Rhode's Glazing Milk to calm the skin, and SPF Sunscreen to protect the skin during the day.

According to the American Academy of Dermatology, women between 25 and 45 who use topical steroids or other harsh skin products are more likely to develop perioral dermatitis.

Bieber emphasized that the rash can be triggered by various factors, including new skincare products, harsh weather conditions, and certain SPF sunscreens.

Bieber has been transparent about her health struggles in the past, including a mini stroke she suffered in 2022 that led to the discovery of a heart condition. Fans have praised her for opening up about perioral dermatitis and sharing her treatment tips.

Bieber noted that preventing flare-ups can be challenging, especially as a model who often tries new products on set. Her advice for preventing the condition includes identifying triggers and avoiding harsh skincare products.
