The posters, released on the 'Game of the Thrones' spin-off show's social media accounts, are unveiled ahead of the first trailer of the upcoming sophomore season.

AceShowbiz - "House of the Dragon" shares first-look images of the upcoming second season. Released on the "Game of Thrones" spin-off show's social media accounts on Wednesday, March 20, the posters featured the key players, including Emma D'Arcy, Olivia Cooke, Matt Smith and Steve Toussaint.

One of the images sees Tom Glynn-Carney, who plays Aegon II Targaryen, sitting on the Iron Throne with a crown in one of his hands. Sir Criston Cole (Fabien Frankel) is also seen next to him. Aemond Targaryen (Ewan Mitchell), meanwhile, is pictured drawing his sword.

Emma's Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen and Olivia's Alicent Hightower, on the other hand, are photographed looking poignant with their respective Green and Black flags in the background. Matt's Daemon Targaryen looks ready to fight with his sword, with the last poster featuring Eve Best's Princess Rhaenys Targaryen and Steve's Lord Corlys Velaryon.

"All Must Choose," is written on all posters. "Tomorrow. All Must Choose. #TeamGreen or #TeamBlack #HOTDS2," the caption reads.

"House of the Dragon" showrunner Ryan Condal previously expressed excitement with the sophomore season. "I'm excited to pick up where we left off," Ryan explained. "Now we get to fall into the more traditional rhythms of storytelling and 'Game of Thrones'."

He continued, "We've always talked about this particular tale, George [R.R. Martin] has too, of being a Shakespearean or Greek tragedy. This series is very much about a house tearing itself apart from within. Now that all those pieces have been set on the board, I'm really excited to tell the next chapter, to see what happens now that Viserys is gone and no longer keeping a lid on things."

HBO will unveil the first trailer of "House of the Dragon" season 2 on Thursday, March 21.
