The leading lady in 'Mea Culpa' receives a heartfelt message from the 'Rise Up' hitmaker, whom she deems 'a magical unicorn,' after giving her approval of the forthcoming set.

AceShowbiz - Kelly Rowland has been showered with love by Andra Day after gushing over the latter's upcoming album titled "Cassandra". The leading lady in thriller movie "Mea Culpa" received a thank-you message for publicly showing her support for the "Rise Up" hitmaker, who is set to release the record in a few months.

Andra reshared Kelly’s Instagram Story and voiced her appreciation to the latter for making an appearance at an event, where the 39-year-old songstress performed singles from the forthcoming album earlier in March. She penned, "I love you sooo much can't believe u came to show love! means the world!"

Previously, the 43-year-old former Destiny's Child singer could not help but gush over Andra. Making use of Instagram Stories, she uploaded a photo of her and her husband Tim Weatherspoon attending the event.

Over the picture, Kelly wrote, "Had the pleasure of listening to [Andra's] new ALBUM! Her voice, her talent, her honesty, her beauty, her quick wit! Andra you are A magical unicorn and I simply adore you! Congratulations! I am so happy for you!" adding a pink heart emoji.

The Story came after Andra announced that she will be releasing "Cassandra" on May 10, 2024. Ahead of the record's release, she dropped her single titled "Where Do We Go", which will be featured in the set.

On the song, she sings, "Where do we go?/ How you been living?/ Just passing through your neighborhood, from down on Woodman/ I really should slide/ Don't look like that/ I'm gon' miss my flight/ And we can't fall right back up in it, no, ooh."

In February, Andra launched a track titled "Probably" that will also be included in "Cassandra". She sings on the single, "See, I have a couple of birds, they/ Tell me that you oversell your troubles/ But you always did have trouble with the truth/ See, I have the homies and my kin who look out for me, and/ They could see you pullin' me out of my character/ And just when I got myself together."
