After surprising fellow Daily Wire host Matt Walsh with her harsh comments on the pop star, the conservative political pundit insists that she has no issue with the Grammy winner's music.

AceShowbiz - Candace Owens wants no beef with Swifties despite criticizing Taylor Swift. The outspoken TV presenter has clarified that she has "no issue" with fans of the singer after slamming the pop superstar as "toxic feminist."
"I have no issue with young girls liking Taylor Swift. Her music is catchy and it's harmless. We have way bigger cultural issues to fry," Candace wrote on X, formerly Twitter, on Wednesday, February 14, apparently after receiving backlash for her earlier comments on the 34-year-old songwriter.
Candace, however, insisted that she took issue with the way Taylor handled her drama with Scooter Braun, who purchased her music catalogue in 2019. "That said, what Taylor did to Scooter Braun was an act of sheer evil," she stated. "He legally purchased her catalogue of music. Her father was on the board of and a partial owner of the company at the time and was therefore obviously aware of the sale."
She argued, "But her young fans don't have their brains developed or understand how business works. She simply didn't like Scooter- lied to her fans and said she had no idea and would have purchased it herself (your dad didn't tell you?) and Scooter Braun's family received death threats for years. His young children's lives were put at risk over a lie."
"Taylor routinely uses her pre-pubescent fan base as an army to attack men that she doesn't like or to simply get what she wants in business," the 34-year-old further alleged. "Scooter Braun is one of many male victims of this. Just calling it like I see it."
Candace previously slammed Taylor in an event hosted on Daily Wire+. "Obviously, if you've seen what she's even done in business and how she tries to manipulate her audiences to get out of deals and contracts, she's totally insane. She's the most toxic feminist that's ever existed," she said of the Grammy winner, shocking fellow Daily Wire host Matt Walsh.
Not stopping there, the conservative political commentator labeled the "Anti-Hero" songstress "psychotic" and dismissed her romantic relationship with Travis Kelce as a "business move" for both parties.
Matt disagreed with Candace, believing that calling Taylor the "most toxic feminist ever" was a strong statement. Candace, in the meantime, cited the singer's statement from 2014 to emphasize her point. "She literally said, 'Lena Dunham taught me feminism,' which basically means that you can get whatever you want as long as you're able to sell to people that you're a victim because you're a woman. And she has done it to the tune of a billion dollars," the mother of one said.
Candace received mixed response to her harsh comments on Taylor. "I just wasted almost 3 minutes of my life listening to celebrity gossip," one person reacted. Another gave a pushback to her statements, writing, "Come on Candace .she is not ."
"Her obsession with Taylor Swift makes sense when you remember she's one of the few remaining Kanye groupies," a third person claimed. Another slammed her, "Letting Candace on these shows is a disaste [sic]." A fifth person alleged, "candace's jealousy can be felt through the screen."
Someone else responded to Candace's tweet, "Not a swiftie but your commentary is dishonest. You say 8 year-olds don't understand business and that Taylor Swift was 15 years old at the time of the deal. 15 year olds understand business?"
Some others, however, surprisingly agreed with Candace, with one of them saying, "Candice always brings the truth bomb. I just have so much respect for Candice." Another said, "Candace is correct. Again." One other penned, "She makes a lot of good points."
