The New York-born artist calls out journalist Elliott Wilson after the latter suggested that the emcee was 'lucky' for scoring success of his collab with the Yeezy Designer and Playboi Carti.

AceShowbiz - Rich the Kid lets everyone know that he deserves to be recognized for his talent. After Elliott Wilson called him the "luckiest" guy for the success of Kanye West's "Carnival", the New York-born emcee took to social media to shut down the journalist's statement.

"How the f**k I'm lucky? N***as made that song from scratch..hating is not cool bro," the 31-year-old argued on X (formerly Twitter). He was responding to Elliot's tweet that read, "Rich the Kid is the luckiest n***a on the planet."

"Carnival" appears on Ye and Ty Dolla $ign's joint album, "Vultures". Rich takes the track's first verse, while fellow rapper Playboi Carti raps in the fourth verse.

Ye and Ty dropped "Vulture" on February 9 after several delays. Aside from Rich and Carti, the set features guest appearances from the likes of Kid Cudi, Future, Young Thug, Freddie Gibbs, Chris Brown, YG, Bump J, Lil Durk, James Blake, Charlie Wilson, Quavo and Leon Bridges.
