AceShowbiz - The Academy has hosted its annual Oscars Nominees Luncheon. Ahead of the 96th annual Academy Awards, notable Hollywood figures gathered at the event which was held at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills on Monday, February 12.

Being good sport, Margot Robbie and Greta Gerwig attended the event despite their disappointing snubs. They appeared to be in good spirits, smiling while mingling with other guests at the star-studded luncheon.

For the event, Robbie channeled her inner Barbie in a vintage Chanel tweed skirt suit. She flashed her abs in the pink-patterned bolero over a matching bra-top and corseted mini-skirt while carrying a handbag from the early nineties.

The 33-year-old actress' long blonde hair was styled in loose waves by hairstylist Bryce Scarlett and nail artist Betina R. Goldstein applied her glossy manicure for the industry party. She was joined by her husband Tom Ackerley, who rocked a black suit over a beige shirt, on the red carpet.

Gerwig, meanwhile, opted for a black sheer midi-dress that she paired with black socks and white pumps. She added black belt to cinch her waist as she attended the event solo without her husband and frequent collaborator Noah Baumbach.

Robbie's "Barbie" co-star Ryan Gosling also did not miss out the party. He looked stylish in a sleek violet suit with matching shirt. He flashed his chest as he left several of the upper buttons unbuttoned.

Inside the venue, the Canadian star brushed shoulder with his "La La Land" co-star Emma Stone. The "Poor Things" actress slipped into a bizarre zip-up tuxedo and black pumps selected by stylist Petra Flannery.

America Ferrera, who also scored a nomination for her role in "Barbie", flaunted her curves in a long-sleeved blue ruched dress that came with halter neck design. She teamed her dress with pointy shoes in matching color while accessorizing with a blue furry handbag.

While "Barbie" received eight nominations, including Best Supporting Actor for Gosling and Best Adapted Screenplay for Gerwig and Baumbach, Robbie and Gerwig missed the cut in their respective categories that were Best Actress and Best Director for the 2024 Academy Awards. Gosling and Ferrera previously defended the actress and the director after the snubs.

Meanwhile, the winners will be announced in a ceremony that is set to take place at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, on March 10.
