AceShowbiz - Ava Gillies, a make-up artist known for her work on productions including Barbie, Margot Robbie's star-studded film, and acclaimed series like The Crown and Bridgerton, died in a car accident early Wednesday morning.

The collision occurred at 1:20 a.m. on the A170 near Wrelton when a black Audi A4 crashed into Gillies' white Volkswagen Polo. Emergency responders attempted to save her, but she was pronounced dead at the scene. Five passengers in the Audi were hospitalized with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening. The road was closed for several hours as specialist officers investigated the crash. North Yorkshire Police are seeking witnesses or anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage related to the incident.
