AceShowbiz - Dakota Johnson has left little to the imagination in an eye-catching dress for a recent event. When making an appearance at the 2024 Vogue Brazil Ball, the "Fifty Shades of Grey" actress channeled her character in her upcoming movie titled "Madame Web".
On Saturday, February 3, the 34-year-old attracted the attention of many with her choice of clothes as she hit the red carpet at the event, which took place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. For the special ocassion, she exposed nearly her entire body in a daring see-through black dress that was made to look like a spiderweb.
Dakota's dress, which was customized by Annie Ibiza Cobweb, came with sparkling silver embellishments on its front and back side that formed the shape of a spiderweb. The gown, which was long enough to trail down and cover her shoes, also had two thick straps and a plunging neckline. To enhance the look, she put on a sheer matching veil and clutch, both of which had similar embellishments.
The "Fifty Shades Freed" actress appeared to have worn a beige bodysuit to cover her assets despite showing off her pert derriere. She also sported a pair of black strappy high heels while keeping her accessories minimal by wearing a huge black spider-like ring.
Dakota looked gorgeous with her full makeup, including glossy lipstick, pink blush on her cheeks, long lashes and black eyeliner. In addition, her long brunette tresses, which cascaded down her back, were styled in loose waves with her bangs covering her forehead and eyebrows.
Dakota's get-up garnered mixed responses from social media users. In the comments section of an Instagram post featuring her photos from the event, one in particular asked, "What happened to her face? It looks different and her outfit is nice but too much." Another praised, "It's like a wedding dress but gothic," adding a black heart emoji.
Meanwhile, a third noted, "A great dress, the veil is different. Nails and makeup are beautiful but always boring with the same hairstyle. I understand the natural and loose look you must love but it seems stuck in fifty shades."
