The pair, who were first linked romantically in December, demonstrated their affection publicly on April 3, exchanging a goodbye kiss before heading their separate ways outside an office building in the city.

Later that same evening, the couple continued to display their close connection while dining out. Dakota, 36, known for her role in The Materialists, and Role Model, 28, whose real name is Tucker Pillsbury, were seen smiling and embracing each other warmly outside Little Dom's restaurant in the Los Feliz neighborhood.

For the night out, Dakota Johnson sported a long-sleeved green cardigan paired with dark pants. Meanwhile, Role Model wore boot cut jeans, a black T-shirt, and a ripped camouflage baseball cap.

This night out added to several previous public appearances the couple has made together. Earlier in the year, they were spotted holding hands on a January date night. More recently, they attended the Los Angeles stop of Paul McCartney's farewell tour on March 28.

The relationship marks a new chapter for Dakota Johnson, who ended an eight-year relationship with Coldplay's frontman, Chris Martin, last year. Adding to the public interest, Dakota's mother, actress Melanie Griffith, has expressed her approval of the new romance. In an April 5 video shared by gossip outlet Deuxmoi, the 68-year-old actress described her daughter's relationship with the singer in one word: “Fabulous.”

Melanie also confirmed the couple has her full blessing, stating, “Of course [they] do.”
