AceShowbiz - The 2024 Grammy Awards may have surprised SZA's fans with its new announcement. Only a few days ahead of the ceremony, the award show revealed that the "Nobody Gets Me" songstress is set to perform at the 66th annual event.

On Monday, January 29, the official Instagram account of the award show released the announcement on the social media platform. It stated that the 34-year-old singer/songwriter is slated to take the stage at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California on Sunday, February 4.

The award show let out a video featuring SZA and a message that read, "Performer." Along with the footage, it wrote in the caption of the post, "[a clock emoji] You don't want to snooze and miss this moment! Watch the 66th #GRAMMYs on February 4th at 8 PM ET / 5 PM PT on @cbstv!"

Aside from delivering her songs, the "Kill Bill" hitmaker may step on a podium during the ceremony if she wins any of her nine nominations. In November 2023, it was unveiled that she dominates the 2024 Grammy Awards nominations with a total of nine nods in several categories, including the Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best New Artist.

Following the announcement, SZA candidly shared her thoughts on receiving the nine nods. That same month, she tweeted, "Cause I'm overwhelmed by it and it gives me alotta anxiety to think of words .. but I'm very grateful and very shook and I wish my granny was here to come w me again (sic)." She was replying to a tweet that read, "You received 9 Grammys nominations and you still haven't said anything about that mother."

SZA is among a number of famous artists to perform at the upcoming ceremony. Previously, the award show unveiled that Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, Olivia Rodrigo, Luke Combs, Travis Scott (II), Burna Boy, Billy Joel and Joni Mitchell will take the stage at the forthcoming event.
