In a clip shared on Instagram on Wednesday, 10 January, the 48-year-old said, "We made such a good movie. I love you so much. Happy New Year." The Julia Sullivan depicter in the film added that she had to skip her yoga class to keep watching it.
In the caption, Drew sent love to her co-star, Adam Sandler. "I love you so much @adamsandler. The Wedding Singer came on my TV as I was getting ready to leave the house and I had to take in this moment and watch it," she penned.
Many have since reacted to the clip. One user on X (formerly Twitter), shared a screenshot of the footage and questioned, "Why is drew barrymore's tv so small and bad. What's going on. I'm unsettled."
Another joined in, "This is exactly the television I would think Drew Barrymore would have." A third commented, "This is literally a jump scare."
