Eagle-eyed fans noticed that the 31-year-old femcee and her husband are not on each other's following list. The "Hustlers" actress even fueled the breakup speculations by sharing cryptic posts.
Taking to Instagram Story on Monday, December 4, Cardi asked her followers, "You know when you just outgrow relationships?" She then followed it up with another message that read, "I'm tired of protecting people's feelings. I GOTTA PUT MYSELF FIRST."
Both Cardi and Offset have yet to address the rumors. However, when the Grammy-winning femcee made her runway debut at Balenciaga's pre-fall 2024 show over the weekend, her spouse was noticeably absent.
Cardi and Offset got married in September 2017. Three years later, the mom of two filed for divorce from the MC after rumors surfaced of him cheating with another female rapper. Luckily, the pair eventually reconciled.
When appearing on "The Jason Lee Show" in January of this year, Cardi revealed that Offset "changed" in a bid to save their marriage. "Me and Offset, we was not seeing eye-to-eye. This was like, the same year I filed for divorce and everything," she first shared.
"The main thing that I wanted him to stop and everything," the New York raptress further elaborated. "He stopped and he changed, and it showed me that he wanted to change for me."
Cardi previously discussed their break-up on social media, admitting that she "decided to leave." She said, "At the end of the day, I decided I wanted to leave. I didn't wait until he cheated on me again. I didn't wait [for] another controversy with him being involved. I decided to leave. If I wanted to stay, I could have stayed. I decided to leave."
