Also turning heads with their styles on the red carpet of the third annual event are the likes of Fantasia Barrino, Oprah Winfrey, Salma Hayek and Kendall Jenner.

AceShowbiz - The Oscars are not going to be handed out yet until March next year, but The Academy has gathered some of Hollywood's biggest stars for the third annual Academy Museum Gala. Taking place in Los Angeles on Sunday, December 3 after being postponed from its original date in October due to the Hamas attack on Israel, the event saw Selena Gomez, Dua Lipa and Natalie Portman leading the stars on the red carpet.

The "Only Murders in the Building" actress turned heads with a black gown with a floor-sweeping train that featured a metallic silver, sequined halter and off-the-shoulder neckline. She paired it with black opera gloves and was dripping in Tiffany & Co. diamonds as she wore a pair of dangling earrings, a shiny cuff bracelet and a massive statement ring.

Lipa could not be missed in her long-sleeved, lace bodysuit layered underneath a low-cut black slip dress. To complete her monochromatic look, the "Levitating" songstress added a pair of black sandal heels while her red velvet tresses were worn down in a sleek and straight hairstyle that was parted to the side.

Also opting for a sheer dress, Portman looked ethereal in a lace top with floor-sweeping length and golden details cascading over a long and ornate skirt. She added a sweep of bright coral pink lipstick for a bold look while carrying a black clutch and styled her brown hair in soft, bouncy ringlets.

Going for an all-black look, Fantasia Barrino commanded attention with her long-sleeved fishnet dress that reached to her ankles. The dress featured dramatic feathers that stuck out around the collar as the singer accessorized with a number of rings and a pair of earrings. She also carried a black clutch and added inches to her height with a pair of black open toe heels.

Oprah Winfrey stood out a shimmery purple dress with a floor-sweeping train and long sleeves. She added a pair of dangling earrings to her glamorous look as she posed on the red carpet with Meryl Streep, who opted to keep it simple in a black long-sleeved and midi-length dress teamed with black pumps.

Salma Hayek showcased her hot figure in a plunging dress in a cream satin fabric that hugged her famous curves. She posed on the red carpet with Jared Leto, who looked charming in a white button-down shirt with an oversize collar and cuffs as well as black dress pants. He added a long blazer jacket with a sequin pinstriped pattern that he wore over his shoulders like a cape.

Kendall Jenner went daring as she appeared to ditch her bra in a red long-sleeved dress with a turtleneck. She looked in contrast with her pal Hailey Bieber (Hailey Baldwin), who opted for a black sleeveless dress, as they posed side by side.

Also gracing the red carpet were Eva Longoria, Rachel Zegler, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend, Anna Kendrick, Billie Eilish as well as model Karlie Kloss. The event saw Winfrey, Streep, Michael B. Jordan and Sofia Coppola among honorees, whose "creativity and passion have inspired and shaped our culture in such powerful ways," Jacqueline Stewart, director and president of the Academy Museum, said in a statement earlier this year.
