The 'Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania' star pokes fun at her injury while sharing a picture of her putting an ice pack on her face following an accident when playing the sport.

AceShowbiz - Michelle Pfeiffer has learned that pickleball can be quite dangerous. The actress has issued a "warning" to her social media followers as she has been left nursing an eye injury after playing the trendy game.

Making use of her Instagram account on Friday, December 1, the Golden Globe Award winner showed the aftermath of the accident. She let out a photo of her putting an ice pack on her face. In the image, she seemingly still wore her black workout gear teamed and a sun visor while her long blonde hair was styled in two braids.

While Michelle was covering her black eye with the ice pack in the first snap, she gave a closer look at her bruise which nearly covered her entire eyelid in another snap. She has changed into a black turtleneck top while posing in what looks like a bathroom in the second and third images.

In the caption, the "Scarface" actress jokingly wrote, "WARNING! Pickleball-Stay out of the Kitchen!! Thank you, Less!" She later assured in the comments that her injury was "nothing serious," adding, "Thank God!"

Further poking fun at the accident, the 65-year-old penned, "Life is sweetened with risk!" adding a red heart emoji. She also told her makeup artist, "You've got your work cut out for you Bridgette!"

Michelle's post prompted a response from many users, including her sister DeDee Pfeiffer, who revealed that the "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania" star kept on playing the game despite her injury. "But she kept on playing," DeDee wrote, adding several strong arm emojis and a purple devil emoji.

Selma Blair commented with a pun, "Oh dear!! Eye am wishing you a speedy recovery." Another enthused, "Tell whoever did this that 'eye for an eye' is just a phrase!" while another suggested that Michelle should wear an "eye patch."
