AceShowbiz - Kanye West's new song "Vultures" didn't sit well with Jewish advocacy organizations. The 46-year-old rapper and Yeezy designer was called out by the groups for bragging over his hookup with a "Jewish b***h" on his new track.
The Anti-Defamation League and the American Jewish Committee put the hip-hop star on blast over the offensive lyrics. In a statement to TMZ, a spokesperson for the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) said that it is "disgusting to see Kanye once again use his platform to spew Jew hatred" at a time when anti-Semitism is on the rise globally.
Richard Hirschhaut, a spokesperson for the American Jewish Committee (AJC), issued a similar statement. Dubbing the lyrics "pathetic and sad," Richard noted, "To fuel the flames of antisemitism and promote such bile to his millions of followers, especially at this fraught and dangerous time for the Jewish community, is unforgivable."
Despite the criticism, Ye's wife Bianca Censori reportedly will continue to defend the rapper. "She would defend Kanye until the end of time on this," a source told Daily Mail. "She knows that things get taken out of context. She knows that Kanye is not anti-Semitic and he is definitely not racist."
The insider added that the couple is determined to ignore bad comments online. "[They] do not read the awful things said about them," explained the source.
On the song, which features Lil Durk and Ty Dolla $ign, Ye appeared to shut down the anti-Semitism allegations leveled at him. "How can I be anti-Semitic? I f**ked a Jewish b***h," the "Donda" artist raps on the track.
Kanye West, who performed the song live for the first time at a nightclub in Dubai, has yet to comment on the backlash. Meanwhile, Chris Brown, who landed in hot water for dancing to the song, vehemently denied the anti-Semitism accusations.
"Let me make this perfectly clear before y'all try to use me as a pawn," Brizzy wrote. "Ima Piru, I ain't Muslim or Jewish so don't start no s**t wont be no s**t!!! I'm trying to be peaceful but please do not wake up the demon in me. Go on about your f**king day."
He further stressed in a follow-up post, "IN NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM AM I ANTISEMETIC!!!" The 34-year-old musician added, "I AM PRO-LIFE AND I MAKE MUSIC FOR THE ENTIRE WORLD!!!!!!"
