After opening up about the reasons behind her June ICU stay, the 'Material Girl' hitmaker steps out of a luxury hotel in Paris not long before her 18-year-old son leaves the same building.

AceShowbiz - Madonna is keeping David Banda nearby amid her "Celebration Tour". Shortly after detailing her lung and kidney failure, which were the reason behind her ICU stay for several days in June, the "Material Girl" hitmaker was accompanied by her son during her tour stop in Paris.
On Tuesday, November 14, the 65-year-old Queen of Pop was spotted out and about in the City of Love, France. In pictures making their rounds online, she could be seen making her way out of the Ritz Paris hotel not long before her 18-year-old son David stepped out of the same building.
Madonna was wearing a black hoodie, black bomber jacket that came with a gold zipper, a pair of long black wide leg pants, glossy matching leather shoes and matching shades. To complete the look, she wore a black baseball hat, matching shoulder bag, matching phone case with a strap and a pair of gold hoop earrings. She looked fresh with her makeup and pink lipstick.
David looked in sync with his mother in his nearly all-black ensemble, consisting of a black hoodie, unbuttoned oversized black jacket, a pair of loose long matching pants, matching sunglasses and sneakers. He covered his hair with a dark green beanie that came with white graphics on its front side.
The new sighting came one day after Madonna revealed that she suffered from lung and kidney failure. "I was in the hospital. I was in the ICU. My lungs weren't working, I wasn't breathing on my own. My kidneys were failing. I was infected with some bacteria that nobody knows about. And there is a 40% mortality rate," she shared during her "Celebration Tour" show at the Accor Arena in Paris on Monday, via The Sun.
"When I woke up I saw all my children around me and I thought this is what will save me. My children will save me. It's not me who saved them," she recalled. "My manager came to me and he was weeping next to me. I came home from the hospital two weeks later, and nobody knew when I would get better. He was like, 'Do you want to go back on the road? Do you want your tour to happen?' "
Madonna further explained, "I was breathing oxygen through a cannula through my nose, I could barely get out of bed to walk to the bathroom and I said, 'Give me two weeks to think about it.' You know, I think of myself as Wonder Woman. I think I can overcome anything, anything but this time I could bring the will. I didn't have the strength. I had no energy, it was taken from me."
"So the two weeks went by and I still had barely any energy. I could drink espressos, four Red Bulls. Nothing woke me up. I had no life force," she continued. She additionally credited her children for helping her survive, "So, again my children saved me. They made me keep going and I recovered faster than most people would."
Previously, Madonna was forced to postpone her shows due to a health issue. On June 28, her manager Guy Oseary stated via Instagram, "On Saturday June 24, Madonna developed a serious bacterial infection which [led] to a several day stay in the ICU. Her health is improving, however she is still under medical care. A full recovery is expected. At this time we will need to pause all commitments, which includes the tour."
