"Tori met Ryan through work, several months ago and she thought he was very charming and handsome," a source told Us Weekly in a report published on Thursday, November 2. It was also said that the 50-year-old star "reached out" to Ryan following her split from Dean McDermott.
Despite online chatter regarding her new relationship, the insider claimed that Tori didn't really care about it. "Tori is really excited about the new relationship and it doesn't bother her that people say he looks a lot like Dean," the source noted.
Tori sparked dating rumors with Ryan after photos of her getting cozy with the Neuron Syndicate Inc. CEO hit the web on Wednesday, November 1. During their Monday date night in Los Angeles, the new couple could be seen sharing a passionate kiss.
The mom of five affectionately circled her arms around Ryan's neck, while his hand wrapped around her. Another picture, meanwhile, saw them holding hands before getting in the car. A source told PEOPLE that they "have been dating secretly for over six months."
Tori's romance was revealed after Dean made headlines with his PDA-filled outings with new girlfriend Lily Calo. The two sparked dating rumors when he was spotted walking hand-in-hand with Lily while visiting the Department of Social Services' West Valley office on Tuesday, October 10. They later were seen kissing at the Los Angeles International Airport.
Dean announced his split from Tori, with whom he shares daughters Stella Doreen and Hattie Margaret, plus sons Liam Aaron, Finn Davey and Beau Dean, in a since-deleted social media post in June. "It's with great sadness and a very very heavy heart that after 18 years together and 5 amazing children, that @torispelling and I have decided to go our separate ways, and start a new journey of our own," the Canadian actor wrote at the time.
