AceShowbiz - Ciara has showered Russell Wilson with love following a birthday surprise. Upon learning that her husband rented Waffle House to celebrate her birthday, the "Level Up" singer could not help but gush over the NFL player.
On Thursday, October 26, the songstress, who turned 38 years old one day prior, made use of Instagram to voice her appreciation to the 34-year-old athlete. She exclaimed, "Waffle & a Date…You know my heart Baby! I love you so much @DangeRussWilson! #WaffleHouse #BDAY," adding a slew of emojis, including red heart and cake emojis.
In the post, Ciara let out a video from the birthday surprise. She was filming herself getting out of her luxury car. "Oh my God, this is like next level. This is like, top top!" she could be heard saying in the clip. "My honey knows how much I love Waffle House. He rented out the whole Waffle House. This is crazy!" she continued.
The clip further showed Ciara entering the restaurant, which had already been decorated with black and yellow balloons as well as red carpet. The footage also featured a photo of Ciara excitedly posing next to Russell as he placed one of his hands on her baby bump. She was later documented telling her husband, "This is like for sure one of the most epic things that you've ever done."
The video additionally saw Ciara being presented with stacks of donuts on a plate by one of the Waffle House employees while others were singing a "Happy Birthday" song. The "How We Roll" songstress was then seen making a wish before blowing candles on the donuts and sharing a sweet kiss with the Denver Broncos quarterback.
